Hmmmm, since my last post, we have had Halloween, Parker's 2nd birthday, David's 31st birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, my 31st birthday, Valentines, Kate's 4th birthday, Easter and all the little moments in between... Um, to say I am a little behind is an understatement! This is going to be a 3-part blog update I believe.
Halloween!
This year, the kids decided early on that they were all going to be a character from one of their favorite movies, "Toy Story". Grace was going to be Bo Peep, Kate wanted to be Jessie and Park was going to be Buzz. After our trip to Disneyland however, 2 of them changed their minds.
Grace wanted to wear her Minnie Mouse costume that she wore to the Disneyland Halloween Party and Kate saw a Snow White dress that she just "had to have!" Parker still remained with our original theme, Mr. Buzz Lightyear!
Trick-or-Treating was great, it was a nice warm night- no coats needed! Parker had so much fun this year running up to all the houses and yelling trick-or-treat! The kids got more than enough candy, Kate and Parker ate their candy within 2 weeks or so, but Grace as always still had her Halloween candy at Christmas, funny girl.
Cohen also stayed with Toy Story- Nicole did an
awesome job on his costume!
Matt and Abbie came up to join in the fun,
they have not missed trick-or-treating with us for the last 5 years!
Here's hoping they still want to come up with us next year with their baby girl! ;)

November 10th- Parker turned 2!!!
10 Things About Parker:
1. Parker LOVES baseball!

3. He is still attached to his blanket and won't go to sleep without it
4. We have nick named him "the baby bully"

November 19th- David's Birthday!
This year for Dave's birthday, I kept it simple- no 30 days of gifts for him this year! My awesome cousin Erin was kind enough to come out again and watch the kids while we went out for dinner and a movie. Dave was excited to see the latest James Bond film (surprisingly good) and eat one of his favorite foods- sushi (I had teriyaki chicken of course).
On his birthday we had dinner at home with the kids and I made him one of his favorite chocolate chocolate bundt cakes! Don't mind the ghetto candles, we could not find where we had put the birthday candles!
I love this guy!
We had to light the matches pretty fast!

November 22nd- Thanksgiving!
We went to my mom's house for Thanksgiving. As usual all of the food was delicious and we of course had way too much for all of us to eat! My favorite thing to eat? Mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie! The kids had a ton of fun playing with their cousins. Parker and Aedric are finally at the age where they are starting to play with each other- it is so fun to watch. Um, yeah, apparently we did not take any pictures of that day, oops!
